After checkout, paste the license key from your Gumroad receipt into SofaDeck's Pro screen. Pro activation needs SofaDeck 1.0.2 or later for Windows and Mac (installed copies update themselves; or grab it from downloads).
What Pro adds, in practice
Unlimited pages
Free SofaDeck gives you one page of buttons — plenty for a media remote or a handful of shortcuts. Pro removes the limit, so you can keep a page per app or activity: one for streaming, one for your editor, one for the living room, one for the arcade cabinet. Swipe or tap between them on the phone.
Multi-step macros
A macro is a list of steps behind one button: press a hotkey, wait half a second, open an app, type some text, press another key. It's the difference between "mute mic" and "start my stream" — switch scene, unmute, start recording and open chat in one tap.
Custom voice phrases
Every button can already be triggered by saying its label. Pro lets you add your own phrases for any button, so "movie time" can dim the lights app, launch your player and set the volume without you remembering what the button is called.
Hotkey combos
Free SofaDeck sends single keys like Enter, Esc, F11 and the arrows. Pro sends any combination — Ctrl+Shift+Esc, Win+Shift+S, or the OBS and meeting-app shortcuts you set up.
Your games, one tap or one sentence away
Pro imports your Steam, Epic Games and LaunchBox / Big Box libraries (with box art) so you can add them as buttons or just say "play Rocket League", "play Sonic on Genesis", "surprise me" or "resume last game". LaunchBox games launch through Big Box itself when its CLI_Launcher plugin is installed.

Pro questions
Is SofaDeck Pro a subscription?
No. Pro is a one-time $9.99 purchase. You get a license key that unlocks Pro on your PC — there is nothing to renew.
How do I activate Pro?
After checkout, Gumroad emails your license key and shows it on the receipt page. Paste it into SofaDeck's Pro screen on your PC. SofaDeck checks the key with Gumroad when you activate it and about once a week after that; if you're offline, Pro keeps working for 30 days.
Can I use one license on more than one PC?
Yes — a license key is for your own use on up to 5 of your own PCs. If you replace PCs and hit the limit, email support@dixonappstudio.com and we'll move it.
Should I try the free version first?
Yes. Free and Pro are the same app, so the free version tells you whether SofaDeck works on your PC, phone and network before you pay anything. If you have a problem after buying, email support@dixonappstudio.com.
Who handles the payment?
Gumroad processes the payment and collects any sales tax or VAT. Dixon App Studio never sees your card details.
